Are you tired of dragging hoses around your yard to get your lawn watered? Wish you had a lawn that you could walk barefoot on? Do you spend too much time wandering around trying to water the dry spots in your grass? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, then you really should give us call to see how we can help with a sprinkler installation designed just for you.
Here at Woody’s Landscapes, we pride ourselves on installing a sprinkler system with head-to-head coverage, the right number of sprinkler heads for your water pressure and we also make sure things are done right and use a backflow preventer when needed. If you aren’t sure what all this means let’s get you in the know.
When you have a sprinkler system that leaves dry spots it usually is due to the sprinkler heads being too far apart or angled incorrectly. We make sure there is the right amount of coverage from each head to not leave any areas of your lawn dry. This is called head-to-head coverage. Another culprit could be you have too many heads running at the same time for the amount of water pressure you have which can cause the sprinkler to not spray as far as it could. Before we install your sprinkler, we make sure the amount of water pressure you have will work for the sprinkler system we design and that the design matches your water pressure. The other important part of our sprinkler system is called a backflow preventer. This is a device that keeps dirty water from moving into your house and contaminating your drinking water. It is an important safety feature that is used when your sprinkler system comes from the same source as your house water.
Ok, now that all that technical stuff is out of the way let’s talk about something interesting 🙂 What are you looking to grow? Flowers, shrubs and trees? A luxurious lawn you can sit out on and have a picnic? Do you wish you could use your phone to monitor/control your sprinkler? You can now set up your system inside an app on your smartphone that you can then have Alexa take care of the watering for you with the Rainbird Controller and you can use your phone or a tablet with the Hunter Controller. Are tired of running in the rain to shut the water off? They now make rain sensors that will automatically shut the program off to prevent overwatering.
We can help make all this a reality without it being a dreaded chore! Let us design a sprinkler system that fits your ideas, your water pressure and your budget; call 406-334-1113 to learn more.
